Here is where I gained my skills
Spyrosoft January 2022 - Current
With moving to my new role at Spyrosoft I became responsible for delivering and shaping all operations and maintenance-related services across the group.
My key responsibilities are shaping the service portfolio, supporting service managers in service delivery, supporting the sales process and serving as an SME and consulting on any maintenance and operations topics. I work closely with heads of technology areas and DevOps engineers to ensure our services are efficient and utilise the latest technologies.
As a side project, I am also responsible for our Technology Consulting portfolio.
Spyrosoft July 2021 - December 2021
Pursuing further challenges I moved to Spyrosoft, one of the fastest growing companies in Europe, according to the Financial Times ranking.
At Spyrosoft I was responsible for managing Operations Team for one of our biggest customers in the IoT field. Our team was responsible for maintaining cloud infrastructure and hosted applications. Among our tasks were infrastructure provisioning, setting and maintaining operational standards for platforms architecture and CI/CD tooling, monitoring existing applications etc. One of the biggest challenges here was to standardise the approach, negotiate with delivery teams and create CI/CD tools for existing legacy infrastructure.
Cognifide November 2019 - May 2021
Due to my performance and experience gained while managing challenging customers, I got promoted to Senior Service Coordinator. By that time I was able to contribute in most of the process described in ITIL and get more experience in how mature IT organizations work.
I continued to work with my customers, developing further their services. At the same time, I became a leader of two other Service Coordinators and started to work with them to set and realise goals, develop skills and advance in service management field and their career path at Cognifide. Moreover, I joined the recruitment team and started attending interviews for new Service Coordinators and Technical Project Managers.
Cognifide September 2018 - October 2019
As I advanced through the field of Service Management I took over two major customers from e-commerce and consulting fields. I was responsible for the transition to operations and once completed for managing the service delivery. Here I gained exceptional experience in most of the fields of service management.
Our services contain maintaining application and infrastructure, supporting users and new features development. In an effect, I am responsible for managing backlog of tasks handled by a shared team of around 30 engineers of different expertise. I often cooperate with other delivery projects working in an agile way. In most of these cases, I will be stakeholder looking forward to fixes and managing the change from infrastructure and application level.
I also started working on more complex improvements, developing new processes, new services as well as overseeing the development of new tools used by our department.
Cognifide October 2017 - August 2018
After promotion to Junior Service Coordinator, I took over additional services and internal tasks. I became responsible for managing department resourcing and continued working on internal improvements.
Cognifide July 2017 - September 2017
During my second internship at Cognifide, I became responsible for three commercial services and our website. While managing customers' services on my own I had to negotiate new contracts, create offers and quotes, manage customers' expectations and define priorities with the technical team and other service coordinators. I had a chance to take part in my first transition process. I was also involved in the decision making process of how the department is being managed.
Cognifide July 2016 - September 2016
During my first internship at Cognifide, I was working in Service Operations Team as Service Coordinator supporting my colleagues in day to day activities across different accounts. My goal for this internship was to get basic on customer-facing communication and to learn a service-focused mindset. I also learnt the basics of ITIL. During my work for Cognifide, I took part in meetings with customer representatives, planned maintenance actions, served as the first point of contact and distributed tasks across technical teams. One of my responsibilities was to create new workflows to use within our JIRA projects. I had to leave Cognifide at the end of summer to continue studies at the university.
Intel Technology Poland July 2015 - February 2016
I worked as a Software Engineer (Java and Python) in a team developing solutions for cloud storage. I got to learn processes and ways of working in the R&D field. I have learned key concepts of SaaS, SDI and IaaS approaches. My main focus was on new storage possibilities, managing storage objects, monitoring and telemetry. I have learned how to manage the data centre with the use of the newest available technologies.
Atrem S.A. October 2014 - June 2015
I was part of a development team working on the reception desk management application. We worked in agile methodology using technologies like Java 7 EE, Wildfly, Vaadin, IBM RTC. I helped to organise the next year internship programme.
Council of Students' Research Groups August 2016 - July 2017
I was chosen to lead one of the greatest students' organizations at my university. My job was to control work of the whole organization, create structures which will allow us to cooperate in the most efficient way, ensure that all of our members are well motivated and know what (and why) they're doing, as well as take good care of developing their skills. I was also supervisor to all project coordinators and Vice-presidents who ran their sections. Thanks to this job I was able to learn a lot about managing people, negotiating contracts with interior and exterior parties, motivating people, running the PM office and working in a team of extraordinary people.
Council of Students' Research Groups December 2015 - August 2016
I was a Board Member at Council of Students' Research Groups. Through those few years, we created at Poznan University of Technology a community of students who are making extraordinary and successful projects. A part of my responsibilities was to provide project management tools to help run our organization and others associated with us student circles.
